So... a thing happened this weekend
We we were chosen by an expectant mother. We were asked to be her precious baby's family.
Forever.
The significance and weight of her choice and Mary's birthmama's decision to pick us to be their child's parents will never, ever be lost on me.
Thank you for all of your continued support and prayers as we journeyed through this process. And the journey is not over, so we ask you to walk with us a for a little while longer...
Will you please pray for Mama L and all those who love her? She is making a life altering and difficult choice and we want her to make whatever final choice she makes with as much peace as possible.
Will you please continue to pray for us? We have TWO WEEKS before the baby is due and we have a lot of things to prepare. But as a colleague said today as I was discussing sub-plans: "it is better this way, we get to see God work". Amen, Sister.
Finally, we are sharing our Go Fund Me once again... We are so grateful for all the unbelievable generosity of every kind we have already received, but we sort of stepped out in faith on this one. Adoption costs are complicated and this situation was a little bit above our hoped-for budget.
