Thank you!

Wow.

SUPER EXCITED!

It is hard to express the gratitude I have for the amount of support we have already received about our decision to try to add to our family once again! Since then this site has had over 3,000 views (!), we have handed out a bunch of Pass Along Cards (and have a bunch more, so if you want some let us know), have had one expectant momma look at our family (she has chosen another family for her child, but it was very exciting and we will continue to pray for her as she makes this selfless and difficult choice), and have had several people clue us into some great agencies who are needing adoptive families. It has been such a great few weeks! Thank you for stopping by, and thank you so much for sharing.

Especially if you are new around here, I wanted to personally welcome you to the family. It is true in every family that no one is an island--that became especially evident to us in the adoption of our first and (hopefully not for long) only little one. Her birthmother, a couple of lawyers, the states of California and Texas, hundreds of friends, family and even strangers who made financial gifts, as well as our church family who supported us with the financial means and showering us with baby needs, friends who watched our dog and house, subbed our classes, and most of all, all of the people who prayed for us were God's instruments to bring our daughter home forever. It was really the most humbling experience of my life. And for this person, who likes to have control over her life, it was a most beautiful testament to trusting all of the people who love us and God who puts this journey on our hearts.

So, thank you for joining us on our adventure and following along as we embark on this journey again. Thank you for sharing our site, passing along those cards, and thank you for keeping us in your prayers.

And, here we go again! I will keep y'all updated on our adventure, share a bit more of our life and about our thoughts about the beauty of adoption, and whatever else we feel like talking about. We hope you will follow along.

Peace and blessings,

~Jessi
